A well made pillow case, washes well, seems a little more long lasting than other brands I have purchased, so well worth the money spent.

I wouldn't have paid £40 for a pillow case on my own, but my daughter gave me this one about 3 years ago. I agree with Joanna that it could be a little bigger - it doesn't quite fit my pillow which is itself on the small side. But I have slept on it for nearly 1000 nights (I take it with me whenever I go away), and I have worn it out! And am therefore buying a new one for myself. It is absolutely lovely to sleep on, being soft and smooth and I never wake up with extra wrinkles. Plus I know it does my hair good as well. All in all, a seriously good investment.

I love this pillow - it really stops my damaged hair from getting too tangled at night. It's quite shiny, and the cream version almost looks gold, so if you like that, it's even better!

Since I first heard that sleeping on silk helps preserve one's youthful complexion I've tried a couple of different brands and they didn't last long in the rough and tumble of my life. I don't have time to handwash my pillowcases, so even though it's not recommended I put them in the washing machine on a cool wash (I do the same for my cashmere and it's fine!) and the Holistic silk ones have stood the test of time they are nice and thick. They have a satin finish, so feel very soft on your cheeks. I notice the difference in facial creasing when I've slept somewhere that doesn't have a silk pillowcase (hotels etc) so I feel that this really works on me. Plus now sleeping on anything else feels like roughing it.

In my opinion this pillowcase is a must have and although it is a little expensive the items from Holistic Silk wear well and last for years!
