I bought this knowing that it wasn't something I would use for straightening my hair (textured) straight after washing, moreso for in-between touch-ups, for which it is perfect.The only thing I would advise is that this probably is better suited to those with thicker and/or mid-length to long hair, I doubt it would be of benefit to anyone with fine hair.Also I have found it works best if you can create tension when brushing through your hair, so using an additional brush or comb.

Knocked off a star as takes a long time to straighten my hair. Then again I don't use blow dryer or flat iron or any other source of heat on my hair whatsoever.I think this device is more for hair that's been flat ironed on day 1 then day 2 use this?Takes many attempts for me to achieve a somewhat frizz-free look.That's on top of the burn small that happens when heating up, when using, and when cooling down. My air purifier device goes from 0.02 to up to 50+!Regardless this brush must be healthier than using a flat iron daily! I don't use the brush daily so I guess if you use it daily you'll achieve that advert glossy hair look ;)

It took me a while to buy a hot brush. I've been using a combo of a hairdryer and my GHD straightener for over 10 years. But this is life-changing! I have medium-thick wavy hair, with highlights, and after blowdrying quickly with a round brush, and a few strokes of the GHD Hot Glide brush, my hair is perfectly smooth, silky, and shiny. Totally worth the investment. I used other hot brushes from my mom, and nothing compares to this one!
