Great essence and it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin

The combination of acids and succinic acid in a gentle formulation in this viscous texture absorbs nicely and easily on the skin. It has a light fermented/tea-like smell that some will like and others maybe not so much but I really liked it. Over time I would say even with the gentle formulation, to use I would advise only 2 to 3 times a week, the skin will be smooth and glowing.

I have combination skin that can be spot prone so I love using an acid toner a couple of times a week after cleansing. I've used this a few times now and I love how gentle this feels and how hydrated it leaves my skin. I usually apply my toners with a cotton pad but this essence toner isn't as runny in texture compared to my others so I've really been enjoying applying this with my fingers, patting it into the skin. If you're on the lookout for something that is going to gently exfoliate while offering hydration I would definitely give this a go.

Brought this to sort out my skin as was having abit of a nightmare, with spots and dryness and really sorted my skin out and gives a lovely glowy finish will stay in routine.

I do love essences, but I always forget to use them, and sometimes I don't have the time or will to go through a million steps. This one made me reconcile with essences because I can skip my toner and go straight in with The Skin Changer. It has those clarifying and exfoliating properties with the Succinic Acid and Pumpkin that I'm usually looking for in a toning step and you get a flood of hydration with the Glutamic Acid, Sodium PCA, and long-term barrier boosting benefits with the Amino Acids and Glycogen. The texture is really pleasant to use as well, it feels light and absorbs easily but it's not too runny so you have some control over the application. It leaves skin feeling plump and bouncy and very ready to absorb serums helping to make the most of them!
