Love using this
4 out of 5 stars
Having used many hydrating serums in the past I was very excited to try Facegyms offering. I was immediately impressed with its quality, tactile twist and push applicator which made me feel like I was experiencing something new. As for the formula I find it to be a little on the watery side for my taste, although it does instantly hydrate my skin with no tackiness left behind. I look forward to when I use it in my routine and plan on enjoying every drop.

Bound for hydration
4 out of 5 stars
Hyaluronic acid is a constant mainstay in my routine to help keep my persistently dehydrated tendencies at bay. I'm always on the lookout for a new hydrating hero to rotate into my regime, so lept at this exciting new launch when it landed in my eager hands. What I love is how easily this is absorbed into the skin, there's not a hint of sticky, tacky residue left behind and it layers beautifully with other products. The pipette doser packaging is also a big 'yes' from me — no leaking, dripping or product wastage here, thank you Facegym! However, this hasn't quite worked its way up to my top spot for hydrating serums... while I adore the thin consistency, it's not quite dense enough to offer the level of thirst-quenching my poor skin needs. Overall, a fantastic formulation that I'd happily keep for evening use under a nourishing facial oil.

Hydrating but not my favourite

If you are after a really lightweight hyaluronic serum then it really doesn't get much lighter than this. I know that lots of my colleagues in Cult Concierge love this serum but sadly it didn't do much for me.Personally, I prefer my hydration serum to be a bit smoother and a slightly denser consistency just because I think it offers more instant hydration and feels cooling and soothing for my sensitive skin.

Truly hydrating!

I had tried the 20ml size, however, a little really does go a long way so this lasted me about 3 weeks using it twice a day. This is quite a watery consistency compared to other HA/Niacinamide serum's I have tried before, so using this more in a patting/pressing motion does wonders! Even though this is more watery, I had used this a few times alongside a qua sha/weighted ball and this really does deliver a slippery feel while you are massaging. This really does leave my skin feeling hydrated and plump. Would definitely recommend it, and would definitely repurchase it.

Oh hello hydration!

Having combination skin I rely on HA in my routine to keep my skin hydrated enough that it doesn't overproduce oils while also soothing drier areas of my complexion. I have tried many over the years with more or less success but this one is a good one, especially if you like to layer because it feels super light and doesn't pill no matter what you put on top of it. Niacinamide is another of my favourite ingredients so I'm really happy to see it in this formula! I also like the dispensing mechanism which allows you to use a small amount of product. I find that less is more with this serum, and the times I overdid it definitely made my skin a little tacky.
