I think Dr. Sturm's cult following is due in LARGE part to having amazing PR. Products are overpriced and I have yet to find one that is wow. This tube is awfully cheap in quality and yet one of the most expensive primers I have come across... It has a beautiful, iridescent colour, but I don't get why it claims to be anti-aging, and it also does not hold under makeup well either. I find my Tatcha sunscreen to be the best primer yet...

I am a die-hard By Terry Densiliss Primer user, but it doesn’t make my makeup last as long as I’d like. What I like about this is it provides a little moisture, and also firmness. For my combination skin I still need more moisture in some areas and a more mattifying primer in T-zone. I do love the way my makeup lasts with this though. It also looks nice with just a little loose powder. The only downside is the packaging. Too much comes out of the tube - it’s very tough to dispense - very expensive for something that won’t last very long. I also found that with the eye cream. Both should be in a pump they would be much easier to dispense, and more sanitary. Other than that, I don’t know about anti-aging claims, but it does provide a nice finish.
