This cleanser was first recommended to me in early high school by a friend who was recommended it by a dermatologist. Ever since then I have always had a bottle around as it never flares up my dehydrated, sensitive and eczema-prone skin. I have tried many alternatives looking for my holy grail cleanser but this is the only one I've ever repurchased and couldn't bare to be without.

Disclaimer: I've only used this product for about a month before writing this review.
The Cetaphil Gente Cleanser does pretty much everything it claims it will do: it is extremely gentle on the skin, but still manages to get all the dirt (and make-up) off. AND it really does help with retaining the moisture of your skin.
If you like wearing a heavy duty mascara / heavy eye make-up, using only the Cetaphil cleanser probably won't cut it, but I find that as long as I keep it simple and lightweight on the eyes, it will even take off my eye make-up without a problem.
