This mask has a lovely whipped texture which provides an adequate amount of slip for detangling and comes in very cute packaging. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end for me.  With my hair type (fine, bleached, 2c/3a), I usually struggle with moisturising products being too heavy on my hair, so I was very surprised to find that the opposite is true with this. After rinsing, my hair felt rough and knotty. I had to detangle all over again with my leave-in. Now, after styling and diffusing with my usual products and techniques, my hair is frizzier and has less shine than normal.  Another negative is that this product is heavily perfumed to the point of unpleasantness using a slew of fragrant essential oils that offer no actual benefits to hair and can be sensitising on the scalp.  All in all, for the price point, there are loads of better formulated and better performing products out there that you could spend your money on, and in fact that goes for the entire range. The only Bouclème product I haven't regretted buying is their curl towel.
