I really like the Black Chicken Body Oil but have never got on well with natural deodorants, they somehow make me feel more sweaty than without anything at all strangely. I'm sure this is psychosomatic. But, I've read enough horror stories to keep me searching for the perfect natural dupe to my trusty Sure 24hr.
Unlike most natural bio-bashers this *importantly* deals with the wetness of sweating by soaking it up (with the arrowroot and clay powder). The scent is lovely, it's subtle, gender-neutral and slightly herbal.
In order to do a proper test I used my regular deodorant on my right pit and this on my left for a week and I'm glad to say I really didn't feel any difference, find colleagues avoiding one-to-one meetings or that I had attracted a pack of dogs - so that was good :) Before going out I would recommend re-applying the Axilla just to be 100% confident, but this is a small price to pay for a completely non-toxic product swap.
This gets four stars because I'm not a huge fan of the delivery system - it gets under my nails when I'm trying to get it out - I'd prefer a bottle that somehow dispenses it straight onto my pit. But again, not a major issue.

Made my underarms extremely dry and gave me discoloration after continuos use. I had high hopes for this product after reading all the reviews, but have to say that I'm very disappointed.

I still cannot believe such a deodorant finally exists, seriously. It is all natural, very very effective and smells like something delicious you could eat. Even after my yoga and power-walk I still smell fresh. I have just ordered another batch 'cause the whole family is stealing it from me, teenagers included.
