This £12 eyeshadow is packaged in cheap ‘temporary’ plastic box, not a ‘proper’ container. I don’t think the description or photographs make that clear. I would not have bought it if I’d known it was a refill item.

Soft and pigmented formula, little bit dusty, but ok. Custard is blendable, neutral and base shadow for me. Gemstone is beautiful shade with bluish little glitters, flatters my green-hazel eyes.

I love the ABH Eyeshadows and could happily only use their eyeshadows exclusively. They're so soft and blendable, and I want them all!

I could not recommend the shade Sunset more - it is unbelievably buttery, smooth, incredibly pigmented and sooo easy to blend, it ends up glossy looking. However, matte eyeshadows I have (Caramel, Noir) left me a bit disappointed, they can be a bit patchy and not always easy to blend, especially over other shadows.

It felt like a waste to get an ABH shadow as a base shadow, but honestly - the formula is so soft and creates the perfect canvas for blending even the cheapest, patchiest shadows...I have zero regrets and will for sure repurchase.
