I got this as part of the duo with the original. Decided to use the original first and it was great, loved it, used every bit of it until it was gone. Then I opened this baby. My God the difference is outstanding! I have sensitive skin so really, I should have gotten this one from the get go instead of getting the duo with the original but hey, live and learn. This is literally the only product, other than Good Genes, where I have woken up the next day and done a double take in the mirror. The only other product and my God, I've used a lot of products! So if you have sensitive skin, go for this other than the classic version, you won't be disappointed!

I really want to like this product. Unfortunately, it just doesn't go well with my skin and I really mean not well at all. I gave the product two chances. First I tried it at night on its own after washing my face. It stings at first application which doesn't seem to go away for a while but Pixi stung at first too when I tried it at a totally different time (months before and no I did not use them together!). And the next day doing my usual routine (minus any additional acid/alcohol based toner, just face and eye cream). That following night I did not use this toner again bcs I followed instructions to let my skin adjust to it but my skin became rough and gritty. I stopped the product and went on an intensely moisturizing and gentle peeling the week after which fixes my skin back. I gave the product the benefit of the doubt, maybe my face cream just doesn't work well with this toner. I tried the rose gold again a month later. STILL THE SAME BAD EFFECTS. In fact got worse as it gave me chemical burns. My skin was gritty and rough all over. The product killed at least a few layers of skin. It took me a week and a half of using night cream a few times per day, face balms and gentle peeling (I used a product called Cure) to remove all the dead skin. Safe to say I am never putting this on my face ever again and sadly this product costs so much and nobody I know is using this product. I am glad to not buy the duo Rose Gold and Gold when it was available as the Gold version probably would burn my skin more.

You can feel the tingling straight away, great product.

I’ve used the traditional liquid gold but when I saw this had rose and I really wanted to give a try. I’d say it’s works almost just as well as the other but perhaps just slightly more lightly, which was the intention I guess with the newly added ingredients. The scent is far more pleasant but I’ll probably return to the original. Does a fab job though at resurfacing, a must try.

I am very blessed with my skin - aged 35, very few visible signs of ageing for my age, have almost never had breakouts let alone acne (with a short period of skin trouble in the form of acne like breakouts in my 20s, in my opinion, caused by facial self-tanner). Postpartum I have experienced breakouts, more texture than redness. Very hard to get rid of for about one month. What did the trick: A good skin care regimen with 1-2 times per week using this wonderful product. I make sure to cleanse twice daily with a mild cleanser (love Alpha H Essential balm, Emma Hardie Moringa, Eve Lom etc). The products that really made a difference were Indeed Labs retinol 3-4 times a week at night in combination with May Lindstrom's Blue Cocoon (horribly expensive, but this product works wonders on troubled skin, reduced breakouts literally overnight); 1-2 times per week Good Genes; 1-2 times per week Liquid Gold Rose. My breakouts are gone within days until the next flare up; those have gotten less and less frequent though. Oddly, I cannot use the classic Liquid Gold. Sensitive skins may have to try this Rose version in my opinion!!
