A thoroughly modern, all-natural range inspired by old African beauty rituals, African Botanics harnesses the skin-replenishing properties of Marula oil – the world’s most antioxidant-rich oil. Founded by Craig and Julia Noik – both originally from South Africa – the couple came across Marula on their travels through their native country, and Julia – having recently given birth – was amazed by the speed with which the oil repaired her ‘stretched’, post-pregnancy skin. In fact, the pair were so impressed by its skin-strengthening performance, they persuaded a South African laboratory to analyse its properties – and were bowled over by the findings. Marula oil has incredibly potent antioxidant stability and stars 78% omega 9 to fortify skin’s fabric, reverse signs of damage and protect against ageing effects of free radicals – which is why it is the cornerstone of this exquisite range of face and body treatments.
After cleansing/exfoliating, apply a thin layer to dry skin using fingertips, avoiding the eye area. Relax and allow the mask to work for 5-15 min while enjoing the intoxication aroma of Damask Rose, Rose Geranium and Clementine. Add warm water and lightly massage using a circular motion to gently exfoliate. Indulge 2 - 3 times a week depending on your skin’s needs.
Packed with skin-essential minerals, this clay-based treatment clarifies and revitalises dulled, congested skin. African Botanics’ Marula Mineral Cleansing Mask is packed with replenishing iron, zinc, magnesium and amino acids, which help to promote circulation and stimulate cell renewal – while the antioxidant- and omega-rich fusion of Marula, baobab and African botanicals works hard to purify, detoxify and counteract congestion. Haematite stone extract and zincite combine to calm reactivity – purging pores of blackhead-causing oils and grime which in turn, helps to prevent blemishes and breakouts – then soothing essences of damask rose and rose geranium encourage cellular regeneration and accelerate repair for beautifully smooth, supple, radiant skin.

    Great mask
    5 out of 5 stars
Great mask, I like it! It is very creamy and easy to spread. It stings slightly during the first couple of minutes on the skin, but afterwards it is very comfortable and not drying. My sin looks and feels fresher and cleaner afterwards!

    Worth purchasing

I have oily skin so clay masks are always a must. I wouldn't class this as my favourite but it definitely works well and my skin feels even, clear and super soft after. I have yet to use it enough to give a detailed review but from the few times I've used it, its worth trying.

    Excellent mask
    5 out of 5 stars
I've suffered with congested, enlarged pores and oily, dull skin since my early teens, and after trying many, many face masks from many different brand. I can honestly say that this is my absolute favourite. From the first time I used it, my skin looked brighter, my pores were less congested and looked smaller. I'm now on my third jar and can't imagine it not being part of my skincare routine. It really has helped to transform my problem skin.
