I’ve always like the more dramatic Cire Trudon such as Solis Rex, but this is now my fave, very elegant and calming. Perfect for a dinner party. I’ve never had the issue that the first reviewer complained about with Cire Trudon. Note that it’s crucial to light it for at least a couple of hours when you first open it to make sure the wax is evenly distributed so the wick won’t get buried under.

This is such a beautiful candle, lovely floral scent. But the wick is horrid. I have two candles from this brand, both of which have wicks that have become way too short for me to use the candles. I have not trimmed them - there was never an opportunity to do so. The wick just disappears on you. Unforgivable and very disappointing at this price point.
