Skingredients AHA Cleanse Brightening + Exfoliating Lactic Acid Cleanser
Created by dermal facialist and skin nerd Jennifer Rock, Skingredients offers a vegan and fragrance-free collection of formulas that feed skin with the skin equivalent of a balanced dinner plate — swapping the carbs and veg for topical probiotics, actives, vitamins, good fats and proteins. Hydrating, nourishing and gently exfoliating, the AHA Cleanse is part cleanser, part ‘micro-mask’ (a Skingredients speciality we can get on board with); in one (refillable!) bottle you’ll find the solution to all your dull, tired and fatigued complexion woes.
Perfectly balanced to gently slough away dead skin cells without stripping your skin of it’s much needed moisture, the AHA Cleanse rinses away dirt and excess sebum while revealing a brighter, more radiant complexion.
There are two rockstar ingredients hard at work here. The first of these is lactic acid, a reliable AHA (alpha hydroxy acid for the uninformed) that loosens the bond between your fresh, luminous skin and the dead skin cells that are clinging on to make it appear dull and textured. Next, there’s polyhydroxy acid (also known as PHA), which not only supports this gentle exfoliation, but also attracts and retains moisture within the skin for skin-plumping hydration. Swap this cleanser in with a more gentle formula; we recommend two or three times a week to maximise exfoliation without overworking your skin. Psst… this cleanser is better for the environment as well as your skin — thanks to a slot-in refill inner tube that clicks seamlessly into your existing cleanser package.
Use PM every 3rd night after pre-cleansing as your treatment cleanse – remember, be careful of your delicate eye area! Pump a coin-sized amount of cleanser into wet palms. Massage into your face using firm, circular, outward motions. After 60 seconds, rinse off.
To use AHA Cleanse as a Micro-Mask: massage AHA Cleanse into cleansed skin, leave for 7 minutes and then remove. We recommend that you do this once a week, maximum.

Great for regular use
I have gone through at least one of these and have a refill ready to go. This is one of my favourite brands and this product is no exception. I use it x2 per week as a second cleanse, leaving it on for about 2-3 minutes. I can feel a little tingle as it gets to work but it does not leave my redness-prone skin upset or irritated. I follow with a gentle moisturiser and that's it. I cannot use any physical exfoliants so this is a good alternative.

Report this reviewSerious cleaser for oily combination and oily skin
Bought it with a recommendations from a famous youtuber, it is suggested to be used every 3 days for an extra pore cleansing effect. Leave the skin very clean without stripping. Not a foaming cleanser. Very recommendable.Â

Report this reviewSmooth skin
Bought this cleanser as heard good things about Skingredients and this didn't disappoint. I use it as a second cleanse alternative nights as recommended and it leaves skin feeling super smooth and glowing. I've also tried it as a micro mask and don't get any irritation. Love how it can be refilled too. Want to try more from this range next.
Report this reviewBeautiful treatment cleanser
Bought this after reading the amazing reviews and hearing good things about it (Wayne Goss mentioned in one of his videos). I was initially worried as I have sensitive skin but this cleanser is fabulous and doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. Leaves skin feeling smooth and glass like. Lovely creamy texture which glides over skin. The only temptation is to not over use it as my skin looks so clear and radiant.

This product has earnt itself a permanent place on my bathroom shelf. My skin looks and feels amazing after a couple of weeks of semi regular use - I heeded the advice that its too harsh for everyday use, my skin didn't turn red or react but I do use SPF and  I can definitely tell the difference. Love the fact that its refillable so will definitely buy again.

I LOVE this product. My skin feels smoother, brighter and more glowing. I've been so impressed in the change in only two weeks of using it. I use it every third day and I'm now hooked - you can really see the results. Love that it's refillable too!
