The Illuminating Moisturiser was one of my favourite skincare preps in my time as a makeup artist for that glowing and flawless base ahead of makeup. This wasn't right for my own skin at the time (being severely breakout-prone and oily the Balancing Moisturiser was my go-to) but I always loved it to prep my client's skin. Over the years my skin has really balanced out from being oily and problematic, to normal with some slightly oily areas making this much more suited to my skin's needs now.Formulated as a beautifully lightweight but hydrating cream, this sits beautifully under makeup and gives a subtle healthy glow after application. Just a comforting cushion of moisture is left behind on the skin, enough to keep your skin feeling hydrated all day long but not so much to feel heavy. Dry skins would definitely want something a little more robust though, or could even combine a nourishing oil with this to up the ante. As someone who loves a glow-giving product, I would actually love a little more sheen from this but that's nothing that a beautiful glowing base can't do!

Recently my skin became complicated; dryness and pimples, plus sensitivity and redness. I use my serum first from Dr. Barbara Sturm and to give more hydration I use this cream. After two days of using it I could see how bright and illuminated my skin looks.

I have super sensitive skin and this cream is perfect for me. In saying this, I need a more intense cream in Winter.

Really doesn't do enough for my dry skin. I think this product would be great if you have normal skin. It did feel very gentle so perhaps also appropriate for those with sensitive skin? I actually don't know what to do with the rest of it so I started using it as a hand cream and it works pretty well for that.

I purchased this bottle after having tried the Balancing moisturiser in the range which I was getting through very quickly as it was not moisturising enough for me. Been using this illuminating version for two weeks now along with the Ommoroessence and night cream and it really is fantastic for my sensitive combination skin. My skin feels plump hydrated and does not break out using any of the products. Love this cream and this brand, on the whole, will definitely repurchase.
