It’s okay. But at this pricepoint you can get much better palettes.

Autumn color story, but still Nars eyeshadows are not my favorites, even they perform well. 

This palette is a classy color story. The eyeshadows are soft, no fallout, easily blendable. While the mattes are creamy, the shimmery ones are very fine and flattering (beautiful on mature skin).  This palette has everything one needs. But if you’re looking for something new and exciting, it ain’t for you.  Love the quality of NARS though. There’s never a delusion.

The quality of the eyeshadows is spot in. No fallout, they’re pigmented, the shimmer ones are beautiful and very flattering on mature skin without ever looking too much.  The color story is a classic and classy, ranging from a day look to an evening look and everything in between. Perfect for a smoky eye in black or a softer brown version. And there aren’t only nudes in that palette. It’s nothing innovative color wise but it’s very high quality and for everyone. Although we all might have already similar palettes with classic colors, I still love to use it because of how easy the shadows blend out and how fast I can obtain a perfect smoky eye without having to search for eyeshadows in another palette. Everything I need is in one place. The packaging is spot on. I like how elegant it looks with the matted black and the rills on the lid. Looks a bit like a painting from Burri. It gives me a bit 90’s vibes too. Well, NARS isn’t so much about the design as they concentrate on high quality products that work. The mirror inside is amazing! The only downside is the weight and while it would be the perfect palette for traveling thanks to the choice of colors and solid packaging, it’s a bit heavy.
