On paper, this looked like a great product. The price point was high but I convinced myself that I would earn it back by the number of visits saved from nail salons. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Firstly it’s very difficult to get a smooth cover of polish on the nails, mine has always been streaky. I’ve tried it with a thin coat of polish and a thick coat of polish but have not been able to achieve a salon standard. Secondly the product takes awhile to dry and it needs to be cured by the lamp. On the plus side, I love the Hortesia shade, it’s a gorgeous light pink and looks very natural. Sometimes I’m lucky and the polish manages to stay on for around a week. If you don’t brush it on properly then the polish can peel off in a couple of hours! If I had my time again, I definitely would not buy it.

Wanting to save some money I decided to no longer go to the salon but do my nails at home. I know I wasn't promised a gel manicure but honestly I'm still a bit disappointed in the quality (certainly compared to the price point). This review is after 8 weeks (and about 8 applications).  What's good: - The colour selection is great.  - The polish is 5 free. - It's easily removable.  - My nails aren't damaged after removing (in fact they're strong and healthy).  What's bad: - The polish doesn't go on smoothly, bumps and ridges form no matter how hard I try.  - It stays on for three maybe four days maximum? For me I did my nails two days ago and the first chips are appearing today.  - The topcoat is glossy for maybe an hour or two. Then it turns dull.  All in all, not worth the money for me and I'm actually a bit bummed out that I bought this set. Wouldn't recommend.

Manucurist is easy to use and it really lasts for two weeks, incredible! I didn’t expect it can be so good!
