  • Julie Hewett Perfect Chubby Cheekie Brush

Image 1 of 1

Julie Hewett’s Perfect Chubby Cheekie Brush was developed on set to expertly buff and blend her Cheekie Cheek and Lip Shine for a natural, lit-from-within flush. With cruelty-free goat hair bristles, this is firm enough to ensure the even distribution of pigment – diffusing the colour and blending it into the base for a believable glow that looks healthy and beautifully youthful, with no harsh edges or clown-esque splotches. Gently pat your preferred shade of ‘Cheekie’ in a ‘tick’ shape from the apple of the cheek down, then up along the cheek bone, and soften the effect using small, circular motions of this gorgeously tactile brush.

    Not impressed

I wanted to like this brush and I still like the idea of it, just not the execution. It's not very chubby compared to its length so it's not very ergonomic, I don't find it blends cream blusher very well (I used it with Kevyn Aucoin blush). I own a lot of makeup brushes but not many cream blush brushes and I find myself reaching for anything but this one. For £30 there are so many better options out there and I feel that this is really overpriced for what it is.
