This product makes your foundation lay on your skin like silk. It takes a little while to get used to but it makes you look like a porcelain doll. It smoothed over my very enlarged pores and my foundation just glided over it. For reference, I use the Revolution Conceal and Define foundation and it seems to work just fine with this primer. I haven’t tried it as skin care, as I bought it as a primer. Definitely recommend!!!

I'm a skin guru. Just ask anyone who sees my skin at 57 years old and think I am in my early 40's. So I scrutinize products. And I LOVE this one. Especially when I travel on the go for business or I have a busy day . This product gives you a smooth primer effect and makes make up last all day as well as erases pores. Highly recommended for the busy on the go woman. LOVE

The secret to a flawless colour look is not primarily your pigment application, it is all about what I call the 'makeup prequel'. Like the way a good bra makes your silk shirt look smooth and gorgeous all day, this preps your skin to make it the perfect surface for colour cosmetics. It holds the pigment for longer so you don't rub it off (brilliant for the new blusher trend this season). I've found that the best way to deal with my super-dry 40-year-old skin so that it looks good all day and doesn't get patchy is to: cleanse, steam double cleanses, use a high active serum, then moisturise. I get dressed while that sinks in, then I pat this onto my skin for 20 seconds. This gel retains a tiny bit of surface tackiness and that's the point at which you should apply your complexion products, this is why it's so good at holding on to makeup.

I watched nikkitutorials use this primer she said it was awesome an done of her staples. So I bought it when I first used it I totally got the idea of jelly it was really sticky then when I used it again it bunched up into little balls on my face it was disgusting it looked like I was peeling throughout the day my foundation was rubbing off throughout the day and for £45 I think it is not worth it there is much better primer in the drug store for £5.

I'm in the camp of people who didn't think this was worth the hype. I have normal-dehydrated skin and thought that this would make my skin extra smooth but it didn't perform any differently than most of my primers. If anything, the Too Faced HangoverRx primer was leaps and bounds better at hydrating and smoothing my skin before makeup. It's an ok product and maybe I'm not using it right but it's not a repurchase for me.
