My eyesight is frankly, terrible and one thing I've noticed after two decades of urban living all over our capital city, *London bathrooms have terrible lighting*! This wonder mirror is the answer to all of my make up issues - it's a like a really good friend who tells you 'like it is' in a nice way - when I use this I know that my make up is on fleek not on freak! I really miss it when on holiday. Some people don't like the idea of a magnified mirror, but x5 is just enough to help you spot a subtle tide mark, or a hair on your chin and the daylight bulb is flattering enough to stop one cancelling all meetings for the day and hiding under the duvet. This is in my Top Ten Beauty essentials I can't live without.

I love this and now wonder how I ever managed to do my make up (or anything really) without it. It's fab for eyebrow tidy ups, applying skincare to specific areas and make up of course. My only complaint would be (def 1st world problem) that there should be a button if you want to keep the light on - if I'm using the light to dry my hair or to do my make up, I have to keep waving my hand in front of the sensor to put the light back on. It would be great if there was either a switch or a longer delay before it turned off. Please post on here if I am missing a trick and there is a way to keep the light on :)

Seriously, it took me about 5 weeks of umming and ahing due to the price of this product. I had stayed in the JW Marriott last year and has a similar mirror in the bathroom which I fell in love with, which is why I started looking into this product. I spend an enormous amount of my disposable income on makeup and spend a lot of time putting it on but somehow it never quite looks as great in the car mirror in daylight!! I ordered this mirror when Cult Beauty (which btw I totally love for their great products and outstanding service) had a discount running, it was the perfect way to talk myself into clicking 'add to bag'. I've now been using this mirror for about 3 weeks and it makes my makeup look flawless, I look like I have spent hours on it when in reality it only took me 15 minutes. If you are putting on makeup without this bad boy you really aren't doing yourself justice!!

Amazing, amazing mirror, even my scruffy boyfriend got a bit hooked looking at himself x5 in front of surgical lighting haha.
