I don't normally leave product reviews, but I know how hard it is for us Black and Brown folks to find creams and gels that work. It's especially hard to know how well a product works if all the before/after pictures are of White skin. I am a 29 year old Black woman who has struggled with dark circles under my eyes since childhood. My dark circles are hereditary, and they have been the cause of bullying and self-esteem issues. I've tried so many different eye creams and serums over the years, but Biossance's SQUALANE + PEPTIDE EYE GEL is a miracle in a bottle! In addition to making some lifestyle changes (i.e. drinking more water, getting better sleep, and cutting back on alcohol), this gel has changed my appearance and has helped with my confidence. I've used this gel for about two years now, and it's the only formula I've tried that offers visible results. Family and friends, who have known me for years, have even noticed a major difference! My eyes look brighter and more alert. I no longer have to cake on my concealer, and sometimes I can get away with light foundation. I ordered the peptide gel and undereye cream a few months ago. I wasn't even consistent using the Peptide gel(it was hidden in my drawer) until about a week ago when I started applying it once a day. I started applying it at night too, and all of a sudden after only FIVE days, I saw that my undereye darkness was going away. I honestly had no expectations from this product and was very impressed and shocked how quickly and how well it worked for me only after a couple of days. I cannot say the same for their other products yet but very much recommend this one! I have stopped wearing undereye concealer!

I use this eye cream in the morning and the marine algae eye cream at night. Total game changer and my favorite eye creams ever (and way more reasonable price point than the expensive eye creams, especially because they last a while). The skin around my eyes is noticeably firmer after using for about a month. My dark circles are reduced and fine lines in the corners of my eyes are no longer noticeable. So glad I found this line of products!

The gel smells great and I love the consistency. It is very moisturising but I do not see any improvement in my dark circles.
