Intoxicating and then some!
5I bought both the 1970 and the Loving candles as needed some self love. I wasn't disappointed, having read the descriptions of the best of the reviews on either. This is just GORGEOUS. I LOVE tuberose and with the amber it's a heady heaven scent combo. As with the 1970, the fragrance was clearly strong as soon as I was opening the packaging ie even before I opened the box.. and, well, I am sitting here now with it just by my side, not lit and it's wonderfully filling the room already. I like to know about it with good home fragrance... and I am so glad I do with this. Worth the cash as will probably only light it when entertaining... no need to as it's just so strong even unlit... Would love this in a personal fragrance!

Tunnelled immediately
2This candle smells wonderful, I find the scent strong and it fills the room. My main issue is it tunnelled immediately when lit, I tried to fix it first time round but upon second lite it tunnelled again. For the money this is such a waste, I wouldn’t recommend on that alone.Â

5Absolutely over the moon I got this in the calendar!I’ve burnt it everyday since.It’s beautiful and very strong in my opinion. When I burn it I can smell it upstairs ðŸ˜Â Already repurchased another one 🤩 if you don’t like tuberose don’t buy it lol Tuberose and rose are two different plants so don’t presume it’s rose 😉

5Got this in my advent calendar. Had it burning all day it’s absolutely beautiful ðŸ˜Â Already looking at repurchasing 🤩 Soon as I walk back in the room the smell is divine. Definitely got to love tuberose ! Going to become a fave !Â

Disappointing
1This has been a disappointment. The scent is not subtle at all and I agree with a previous reviewer that it's a one-note perfume and a waste of money.

Poor quality wax
1So disappointing, my candle tunneled immediately after being lit leaving me with an unsightly and unusable candle. Not sure if I was unlucky but after reading reviews it seems that wax quality seems to be an issue with this particular scent. I’ve had other Bella Freud candles and they have burned well and projected beautifully. Don’t make an expensive mistake like I did.

Intoxicating!
5Amazingly good if you love tuberose, which I do. It's quite potent and the candle will last you a long time. I would re-purchase.

Definitely a tuberose...
5But I love tuberose so it's perfect for me. Actually reminds me instantly of Guerlain Mahora - an old favourite discontinued perfume. I haven't burnt it yet but it is in my underwear drawer making everything smell amazing!

It's great
5Like others I got it in the Hirons box and it's not something I would have bought myself. I wasn't a candle person and don't like floral scents anyway. This is actually really nice. It's not pure tuberose and I light it along with another candle usually. But in response to other reviews - this fills the room when lit (it goes beyond the room too, those in my house are fairly large as well not tiny) and the wax has burned perfectly. It's only 5cm left, but is totally flat/'as new'. Don't know whether I would repurchase as it is so floral but it is lovely. Would definitely consider. Giving it 5 bc I have no complaints at all.

Overpowering
2Perfume is mostly a matter of personal taste. The scent of this candle is not to mine. As other reviewers have commented, the candle throws off very strong tuberose which for me which instantly head ache inducing. There's no subtlety, complexity or interest with this scent. It reminds me of a really cheap one note perfumed candle. Those ones in the sale bin at the chemist after Christmas. Cheap this one is not. I got it in a Hirons box. Not a good inclusion. I think I will bin it.
