I like the natural (non-citrus as many vitamin c serums have) smell. This vitamin c is really unusual and nice

Vitamin C that remains stable in packaging throughout product use, that is also hydrating with the hyaluronic acid. Sits well under make up. Herbal scent that is a lot nicer than most vitamin C serums (no underlying hot dog water smell). Makes skin brighter over time. Have bought multiple times 

I bought this about a month ago and have used it every other day I'd say and OMG it is hands down the best Vit C I have ever used, it has a bit of a gingery smell which I actually quite like - but it has already faded some of my most recent 'picking' scars, scabs, and discolouration. I will not be buying any other Vit C (it works beautifully with the Alegnist Collagen Calming Relief Cream too).

Since the launch of the Blue C Peel, which rapidly became my go to gentle and most effective weekly treatment, I have been waiting for Algenist to extend this line. I am happy to say say that this new serum has met - maybe even exceeded - my expectations. It's lightweight texture and thin consistency absorbs quickly and gives the sensation of binding with whichever oil or moisturiser I apply next in order to maximise the efficacy of that too (might just be me that has noticed that!). I have specific pigmentation on my forehead which this seems to have significantly improved the discolouration of in quite a short period of time. Now I want an oil with Blue C in too please Algenist!

I love that they use the power of the ocean, algae are such a healthy and nutritious choice for our bodies, I just hope we can keep it sustainable. The serum feels really light on the skin, it is a bit more liquid than I expected, I thought it would be more like a gel since it also has aloe vera in it, it has a green colour naturally, and it smells a little like spirulina. I`ve been using it for 3 weeks and I`m looking forward to see the results in the future, as 3 weeks are not enough. I know there are a lot of brands that promise results in 2 weeks , but that is just not realistic. It takes most of the time the usage for at least 1 full lifecycle of the skin i.e. at least 30 days to see results, so being consistent and not loosing patience is important.
