Amazing
5 out of 5 stars
As a long term sufferer of acne since I was 11, this is a life saver. I've tried every product that has the term 'for acne' and spot treatment and suffered terrible oily skin as a result. When I wised up and tried treatments more suited to my combination, sensitive skin they still didn't have an effect, even one that others swear by such as Mario Badescu's drying lotion, Elemis's tri-enzyme face wash, Pixi Glow Tonic etc. The only thing I found that worked was prescribed antibiotics from my GP. This wasn't a long term solution for me, so I came off them, to find it slowly creeping back. It's amazing. I still get spots, with my period, from eating badly (aka five Christmas dinners on the trot plus xmas cake for breakfast). I also have sensitive skin and eczema, and cow milk products give me redness. BUT using this daily the spots go. Even the most massive and painful cystic spots after a week will stop hurting, start shrinking and eventually will be gone. (previously no matter what I did I just got more, and more, and more spots. Even following Caroline Hirons cheat sheets) It does have some quirks though: - You have to buy refill cartridges, that only last 2 months. (why I'm so excited about Cult Beauty stocking it. I can get the special offers with it!) - It's very sensitive, if you don't eject the cartridge straight after use it will eat the battery, or be set off by something like a drawer closing, unplugging the charging cable even if you're not touching it, and even if you don't use the full 'charge' it will be lost for good. Infuriating. I always leave mine on it's side in my bedside table drawer with the cartridge half ejected like a camera battery, meaning I don't loose it, but it can't waste it's charge. -If the batteries down to two bars, charge it, even if you have to skip doing your face before work. Again, it will conk out half way through and you'll have wasted the charge. So in conclusion if you're not going to starve your children buying it, and have spots that won't go away by any other means, do it. I wish I'd just bought it ages ago when YouTubers where recommending it. It would have saved me soooo much money and grief.
