I don't know about the brightening part, but this does hydrate my undereye area. So I use it on top of some creams that leave my undereye area feel dehydrated.

I liked the price point, that's why I bought this eye cream. I've not tried this brand before. The product has a slightly goopy texture... I am not particularly a fan of it. And no fragrance - which I kinda miss because my nighttime skincare is more like self care so I don't mind a bit of nice smelling stuff. Don't think I will buy again
