Very moisturizing Vitamin C serum
5 out of 5 stars
I am not usually the one to favour Vitamin C derivatives but oh boy is this nice! I like that as the Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a derivative form after all and would need conversion into L-ascorbic acid later, it is the second ingredient in the product (unlike a lot of other so-called Vitamin C products on the market that might use some SAP MAP or AT in the fifth ingredient) and it is good that Sunday Riley also tells you the percentage (15%) to stop you from guessing. Squalane is the third ingredient, which probably explains why it is so moisturizing. I am also surprised that despite the beeswax, it does not feel sticky at all, and I use quite a large amount for my dry skin (at least two pumps) in the AM right before my moisturizer. Texture wise, it is a bit thick (similar to Good Genes but less slimy), but it absorbs quite quickly on my skin as if it is a moisturizer, it is super lovely to put on the face (and the orange scent does not hurt either). Unfortunately I can not tell you about the brightening effects, as I do use Vitamin C serums all year round, and my skin is generally in good condition. I can however tell that during the first month of using this serum my skin always looked luminous with makeup on and never once it felt dry. As I use this serum in the AM, I think it definitely has helped and perhaps has also improved my skin to some degree. But since I use a big amount of serums usually, I always find myself finishing 30ml bottles within a month, including this one, therefore, I should have purchased more bottles and continued using it if I really wanted to detect the effect of exactly this product. The only con is probably the price is a bit steep for every month, but I will definitely repurchase it.

OK But Not Earth Shatterring
3 out of 5 stars
I've purchased it as part of the "Back to school" set. This is a decent cream that slightly brightens my complexion. It's pleasant to use and non-irritating, however too rich for my combination skin for day application under makeup. The scent is nice and citrusy and reminds me one of the Biotherm discontinued ranges. Overall, nice cream but I would very much prefer vitamin C in a serum form that would make sure the correct pH level and allow for product layering. Hence I do not plan to purchase the full size.

Sticky
3 out of 5 stars
I've been using this for more than 3 weeks now and have yet to see any improvement on my skin. I have combo skin and this sort of is a sticky concoction that needs a lot of powder to make it stay less shiny. Overall for the price i feel there isn't much this is doing for me. I will continue using it since I've payed a lot for it.

Love it-night moisturiser
4 out of 5 stars
This moisturiser has a great scent and is pleasant on my skin. Before going to sleep it's a real 'cuddle', that I love to have every night with Luna oil. During the day I do not find it completely suitable for me as a day cream because it is very rich and I prefer something lighter with a serum.
