I use this brush to apply loose mineral powder foundation, it works well for that purpose. If you used Sigma F82 or Cover Fx custom blending brush, this one is similar but smaller, the diameter of the bristle part is about 2 cm. The angle and fingertip pattern don't really play a role much for the way I apply the product. The synthetic bristles are quite thick but not scratchy and packed quite densely. It is also easy to wash, I did not experience any shedding so far.

I use RMS’ ‘Un’ Cover-up Concealer as a sheer foundation (it merges with my skin tone beautifully and I’ve never experienced anything like it). I have previously used my fingers to apply it which works well as the warmth of the fingers helps it spread evenly, but I bought the brush to see whether it could improve the finish. It’s definitely lived up to my expectations as it allows you to ‘buff’ the foundation into your skin in circular motions for an airbrushed and flawless final look that has taken my love of RMS to a whole new stratospheric level.

I've always been a fingers girl when it comes to applying foundation (followed by Beautyblender bounced all over my face to blend). But when I met up with Rose-Marie recently she gave me this to play with and it's absolutely perfect when I use it with my new obsession - the W3LL PEOPLE mineral powder foundation. The brush's swirl pattern takes up just enough powder to apply thin layers and feels beautifully soft on your skin. The irregularity of the bristle configuration gently, but evenly buffs the surface of my face leaving a really natural finish. It is a bit strange RMS launched this beautiful brush without a foundation to accompany it, but maybe this is her way of teasing us for the future...
