I received this in the advent calendar and was excited to try it on my coarse and brittle hair. Have used it several times now, leaving it in for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, with zero effect. Maybe it works better on other hair types?

I think that Elasticizer works best for people with damaged or chemically treated hair, as it can show the most noticeable results. However, my hair was not severely damaged to begin with, so I did not see any drastic changes. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed using Elasticizer and believe that it does make a positive difference. It is more effective when left on for a longer period of time, so I usually apply it in the evening when I plan on staying in and leave it on for 1-2 hours or even overnight. According to Philip Kingsley's website, Elasticizer can also be used as a conditioner (for coily or very porous hair) instead of pre-shampoo treatment, but it may be too heavy for some people. I received Elasticizer in the 2023 advent calendar and would definitely consider buying it again.

*Received in 2023 Advent Calendar* Lovely smell. Slightly watery formula for a hair mask. My main issue is with the whole concept of pre-shampoo treatment. You have to apply it to wet hair and keep it on for 20 minutes before shampooing. It means you're either hanging around in the hoser (stretching your shower time to at least 40 minutes) or you have two showers. Way too much effort that might be worth it if the results were amazing, but it's just ok. Will use up (on days I have nothing better to do), but won't purchase.

Leaves hair super soft and silky. It says to use before washing hair but i used it afterwards, left it for an hour and rinsed! Works perfectly
