I didnt get a chance to test before I bought but I am SO glad I bought it! It feels quite tacky when you first put it on however that isn't a bad thing, it leaves my skin with a lovely dewy glow that I have been trying to achieve for the longest time! I usually wear Laura Mercier setting powder however have been resisting wearing with this as it takes the dewy edge off of the foundation! One thing I will say is that I have only used in the summer with a tan so far so that might have a slight effect on how good it looks on but so far I am very happy and will be investing in many many more!! Also, love that it's SPF 30! I have quite sensitive skin and so far, no breakouts, if anything my skin looks healthier - very happy!

I wear makeup on rare special occasions and it always feels weird, but I've been trying to look a bit more put together on a daily basis and honestly this product was a life saver. It is actually weightless on the skin, blends beautifully and isn't noticeable. It doesn't give any coverage but evens out the skin tone giving a satin matte finish. Basically dream product for non makeup wearers. It is also surprisingly good at oil control. Overall I'd totally recommend this to everyone who isn't used to wear makeup. This is just one step further from moisturizing and getting out of the door, that is if you can match the one and only shade. For me it's a tiny bit dark now and will be perfect during summer. As for the skincare benefits I'm not sure I noticed any. Giving 3 stars because...one shade, really?!

I had such high hopes for this product, considering all the marketing. However, even though it's a serum and is supposed to be skin care makeup, it drew attention to the dry areas of my skin and did little else for the rest of my face. I'm sad that I spent my money on this. I had better luck with Resultime by Collin's CC cream - it's great if you want exceptional skin care and makeup together. Even my Kevyn Aucoin SSE mixed with my Aesop serum does more for me than this one did.
