I tried this a few years ago (when it was in the old bottle), really liked it but it did sting my eyes a bit so didn't repurchase. Then I brought the Anna and Lily Cult Beauty Box and gave it another go and wow it's lovely and no more eye stinging. It's texture is beautiful for giving a nice facial massage. It makes my face feel so smooth as well.

I find it more difficult to find a good gel cleanser versus a balm cleanser. Oskia Renaissance is far and away the best gel cleanser I have tried. The texture is really nice and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after cleansing. I massage it onto dry skin and remove with a wash cloth. I have oily/combo skin for reference.

The hybrid balm-into-oil nature of this cleanser made it difficult for me to classify it into am or pm category and I didn't find proper use for it. It doesn't really work as a makeup cleanser (doesn't remove eye makeup very well) and as a second cleanser it left an oily residue on my skin so I had to cleanse once more with some other product. However, I passed it on to my mum who has dry skin and she loves it! (as a second cleanser). Pros: good second cleanser for dry skin Cons: not for combination/oily skin, leaves a residue

I imagine this will be amazing if you like the texture of gels but find 'regular' gels to be a tad too drying and don't mind a bit of oil. It has a lovely gel to oil texture that melts right into your skin upon application. It's a nice in-between gel slash oil slash balm. I myself love a good greasy balm cleanser, so this for me isn't quite balmy enough. Maybe I will enjoy it more in the warmer summer months, who knows! (If you're not into your skincare having a scent, this might not be for you. I don't mind products with fragrance, but something about this Rose scent for me put me off slightly)

This is very good cleaner for my dry skin. It encourages a timely and indulgent massage and the aroma is relaxing and luxuriant. It leaves skin clean and comfortable and I will certainly be buying this for a long time to come after trying many, many such cleansers. I do however find CB's minimal order for free P&P prohibitive, I have asked CB to review or lower their P&P but so far they haven't.
