I was worried to buy this to be honest as it is quite expensive and also I read some reviews saying it really stung and burnt their face. Thankfully it didn't sting at all on me, although I don't have that sensitive skin. I love mixing with the honey mud (makes your skin hydrated and glowing too) helps with red angry skin and also breakouts I can't go a week without this now! Also this is a huge pot for the money.

Love the ingredients and the brand. Used half table spoon with water just now and does this thing prick and sting and just generally uncomfortable. For reference I do Liquid Gold, Dr Dennis Gross extra strength peels and barely flinch. Could not imagine sitting like this for 45 mins as suggested. But kept at it. When washed, and after the redness and soreness subside, I get the most smooth feeling on my face, can't stop touching. Love the smell of them spices too. Next time though will mix with Honey Mud (my absolute fav from may Lindstrom) or Rose water to make it more cooling. CULT BEAUTY REPLY: this is a very active mask, we have found that with weekly use you will find your skin gets more used to it. If you have very sensitive skin I would not recommend using this product. The results are worth the heat :)

It has a fantastic smell and thrilling warmth and tingling effect when applied. My skin was so smooth when I washed it off, but quickly became red and irritated. I have never had a problem with any other mask I have tried, and so it struck me that this product may have been a little too abrasive for my skin. Approach with caution! Not recommended for sensitive types.

After reading the reviews, I was much excited to receive my May Lindstorm Problem Solver. My skin is acne prone, with a lot of redness from scarring and the occasional spots. I did not feel a burning sensation as many people described, just a slight tingle. I did feel that the mask does help. My skin feels healthier and more smooth after. It does no miracle on a spot, but does reduce it comparatively, Worth trying and purchasing.
