Japonesque are the first curlers I've found that don't pinch the corners of my eye when I use them. Nice design, nice curl, nice open eye look. My boyfriend still looks at me like I'm mad when I use them though.

My sister owns the famous Shu ones and I've read good reviews of both Shu and Japonesque so I thought I'd try these and compare. They are a little cheaper so it was nice to find these so good. I loved how wide they are and how they are able to grab every lash. I also love that without much pressure, they do the job. There was no pinching at all, which is heavenly! My lashes are my main focus when I do my makeup and this makes them so visible, awake and curled!! I think that everyone looks beautiful even without makeup, if they have great lashes.
