I had this in a travel size (I believe from a Goody Bag around Christmas). It lasted me well into spring given I use several cleansers. This came at a time of hormonal acne while breastfeeding and for a few months, I absolutely had to cleanse evenings and mornings, where normally I don't cleanse every morning. I totally could with this. It is super gentle, leaves the skin refreshed and plump, never strips of moisture, and smells DIVINE (of roses). I definitely will repurchase once I finish the cleansers I use now. It will likely be my every other morning cleanse, it felt a bit too precious (and not as potent as my beloved Moringa balm) to scrub off makeup with it. It might be a second step if you double cleanse.

I just love this balm. It smells great, so soft and leaves my skin so hydrated and clean.

Love this balm! I have tried different balms as I like to double-cleanse and this balm is really a gem! It is all I would want from a cleansing balm - it takes my make up off (I use micellar water to take my mascara off my eyes anyway as I have very sensitive eyes, I never use balms for my eyes), it smells great but not too much as to annoy you with the smell, it's never broken me out and it emulsifies well - perfect!!!!

I've loved other products from Alpha H, I love the balancing cleanser and couldn't wait to give this a try as I like a balm to melt off make up. I was just so disappointed, it doesn't have enough slip to it, it feels like it's dragging across the skin unless you use so much product, and even then it doesn't dissolve my mascara. It emulsifies well, and I flannel it off to avoid any residue, but I need a second cleanse... to actually get rid of the rest of my make up! It does smell lovely I guess.

I read great reviews about this cleanser online but I was very disappointed when I used it. The cleanser smells lovely, however, it stays on the surface of the skin and hence doesn’t melt make up off (even if I double cleanse). I’ve also now gone from having clear skin to having breakouts. I have since gone back to the Clinique cleanser balm.
