It does exactly what it says! It is highly pigmented for a balm (I got the shade desire), gives a glossy finish and when combined with a lip liner the result is volumizing. However, what makes it stand out for me is the feeling of hydration which can last for hours. It just doesn't dry out my lips, after a few hours like other balms do. It's worth the splurge!
