Sunday Riley Artemis Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil

Never one to mince her words (which is why we adore her), India Knight penned a glowing review of Sunday Riley's stunning {Artemis Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil} in The Sunday Times' Style. She named this golden elixir "quite simply, the best face oil [she'd] ever come across for combination or oily skins" - and, considering that India has ready access to a fair few potions, this is exceedingly high praise indeed.

{Artemis Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil} is "designed to balance the complexion and it contains all sorts of good things, none of them cheap: lemon ironbark and lemon myrtle oils, milk thistle seed oil, black cumin seed oil, pink grapefruit and pomegranate seed oil. The ingredients read like a delicious recipe."

The smell is definitely acquired - with no synthetic cover-ups to make this smell like petals, it does have a slightly organic aroma - but it isn't obnoxious, and is definitely worth over-looking (over-sniffing?). It's rare for India to recommend anything quite so £££ without just cause, so don't be deterred by a dubious fragrance.

For, as India attests; "This oil is amazing. I’ve been using it during a period of stress, when my skin had been behaving like some sort of neurotic hysteric. It was the worst skin I’ve had in ages, and nothing I did made any difference — until this. My skin is smooth and even; it feels supple and hydrated. The breakouts are gone. My oily patches — which are normally just a fact of life, as I have combination skin — are noticeably less oily. It’s kind of miraculous."

"My skin drinks it up as though it were nectar. The blurb on the packaging says {Artemis} will give a clean, healthy glow, as though lit from within, and this isn’t hyperbole — it makes you look wholesome, like you’ve been gambolling in fields in the sunshine." - India Knight, The Sunday Times Style

Who doesn't want to look like they've been gambolling in fields in the sunshine? We'll take two...
