I saw this on the Vossthecurlboss TikTok - she made the case for really needing to open up the little potholes in the hair to allow moisture in. It feels quite abrasive but my hair was clearly absorbing more water right away. I’d definitely recommend watching Vossthecurlboss for guidance on using this product.

I think this mask does the job efficiently. It provides a very deep cleanse and my scalp, which is super prone to build up, felt so light after I used it. I put 4 stars because after the third time I used it I noticed that it dried my lenghts a little but nothing that a nice creep conditioning couldn't fix.
