But I was expecting something with more fragrance. It seems to work better when applied to damp skin in the shower. Otherwise you would have to use too much to scent your bath, and it's way to expensive for that.

I use this on days when I am feeling sluggish and grey- I take some of the oil in my palms and rub it over wet skin in the shower and rinse off any excess briefly. Then gently pat dry with a towel so as not to rub too much of the oil off my skin! It leaves a delicate thin emollient layer on your limbs this way and also beautifully therapeutically scented skin. I don't use it too often due to moderate price point but is reserved for days when I need a treat/pick-me-up and it has a definite value for my well being. Love it.

Received this in the lovely little try me box and must confess thought it smelt like something from my dads paint workshop, so it was left for a couple of months until my frugal side stepped in and decided I was not wasting money and I had to use the product. Well after a horrid couple of weeks I was fed up, drained and well you can imagine. I showered and massaged some of this elixir into wet skin and was amazed at the aroma beautiful, calming and relaxing. I then sat wrapped in towels in a comfy chair, relaxed for an hour, got into bed and had the most restful nights sleep for a long time, amazing. I have just trampled on my frugal side to step into cult beauty and purchase a full size along with the cherish serum also a beautiful product. I am giving the three stars for the amazing blend of oils, but only for that. I had big expectations for this bath essence, especially because it is suppose to be aromatherapeutic, which by definition is the practice of using volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. Well don't expect for that effect, it is indeed hydrating and refreshing but I tried many oils in the same range, some of them high end, other very basic..such as JUST cosmetic and essential oils, a Swiss brand, very affordable and not comparable with Therapie. Yet again, another product where you pay extra for the luxurious packaging . Will i purchase it again? probably...

I am a bath person and absolutely adore bath soaks and bath oils. I'd never tried this before, but it has shot to the top of my bath-time favourites and is going to be become a repeat purchase. It's different from any other bath oils that I've ever used before. It really is a deep-soothing essence that emulsifiers beautifully in the bath water, creating the most amazing, soothing, fragrant, heavenly soak. As I sank into my bath, I felt all my stresses and strains melt away. It left me feeling so zen - with the bonus of baby-soft skin. P.s. Don't use a scented candle with this - you don't want anything to alter the beautiful, deeply calming aromatherapy of this bath essence.
