Hydrating and non greasy
5So hydrating, but not in the same way other creams hydrate but leave your skin greasy. My skin feels smooth immediately when applied at night, and in the morning my skins quality looks so much better!

Exceeded expectations
5I really didn't expect much, after doing a lot of research this is so cheap compared to other HA applications, but after a month of using this I really have noticed a difference. I'm 38 with sensitive skin, recently noticed lines creeping in, but have always kept a very simple and natural skin care routine due to sensitivity so I've been worried about trying new products. I went for a hydrating regime, following this with plant based squalene and the moisturiser with HA. My skin is plumper, looks healthier and my dryness and eczema are clearing up. Really impressed, I've just ordered some more and will be introducing a vitamin c and retinol to my regime as I now feel confident in the quality of The Ordinary products.

The best
5I’ve always suffered from dry, excma prone skin- and since using this day and night I have noticed a huge difference. Dry patches have gone so make up sits much smoother and my skin feels much more hydrated. Totally obsessed.

HA Acid
5This is an excellent product and I have been using it for some time now. Having noted another 'feedback' comment, I would just say that, as recommended by the company, after applying the serum one's usual face cream should be applied.

4Okay, so this product is quite affordable, so I'm not complaining at all as I think they skip the "feel good" experience to cut costs, but I have to say, that this product is quite goopy and is sticky when you first apply it on the face. But when you go beyond that in a few seconds, it dries and has a smooth texture. I use 2 drops and that seems to be enough for my face, and I think it's better not to use too much, as it can have a thick texture and is easy to put on too much. Having used Skinceuticals HA before, they provide the "feel good" aspects, but then again, you are paying for that :) As for hydration, I think it is hydrating my skin, but I use cream on top of this so it's hard to tell at the moment, and I need to use it longer to see the results. But so far so good, I'm happy with it :)

Disappointed
2After reading a lot of good reviews about this product I decided to buy it but I'm kinda disappointed. It doesn't hydrate enough. My skin feels so tight after putting it on. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I love it but...
5I've never tried a HA acid before, however, it goes onto my skin smoothly, it feels nice and my skin is still clear and smooth. Does not clog my pores or make "pills" on your face. Just rub it in, leave it for a sec and then moisturise on top! I did also buy a new face cream and having been using the two (it is drops of youth from the body shop) so I can't comment on the HA as a solo product. However, I'll definitely be buying it again. Just make sure you don't use too much. It makes my skin feel and look nice and that's exactly what you want. Plus for the price, definitely worth trying, even if it isn't for you. I'm sure a friend or family member would take it off your hands if you didn't like it. I'd recommend.

5Amazing! Lightweight,cooling and hydrating,perfect for combination, oily or dehydrated skin. After a few seconds, you can apply your cream and makeup perfectly!! Worth buying!!!

Wish I found it sooner...
5I went for a facial recently with the sole aim of getting advice on my dry edges of my nose and cracks of my mouth and the lady said hydrochloric acid. ‘It’s like a drink of water for your face..’ It is!!! Took a couple of weeks applying it 2 x per day but my make up didn’t stay on those places for over a year I’ve had the issue - one thing, it doesn’t FEEL hydrating, feels a little gluey, but obviously you add your own moisturiser after for that.
