Perfect for all
4Squalane oil has long been a go-to for me for an effective but not bank-breaking way to help target dryness and regulate oil production. Inkey's Squalane Oil is really a foolproof treatment for all skin types, from oily to dry, that effectively hydrates the skin. Could the packaging be slightly more suitable for an oil formula? Yes, but at such an affordable price point I find it hard to get too frustrated by it as the formula itself is faultless.

Squalane Oil
5Inkey List is great value for products. I tried this instead of my usual rosehip oil and so far so good, very hydrating, my husband also uses it. Packaging isn’t great so I poured mine into an old dropper bottle.ÂÂ

Moisturising and plumping
5I have used other brands of a squalane oil before and this is the best. Firstly it sinks in gorgeously, hydrates all day and a nice base for make up when used with polyglutamic acid and a nice moisturiser (I am extremely dry skinned) plus the packaging is compact (whilst still being 30ml) but great for travel. Recommend as the next step up from using something like rosehip oil.

Great, simple oil
5Really nice oil. You only need 2-3 drops pressed into the skin to give an extra boost. I have oily skin but sometimes get a bit dry during different times of the month. Putting this over my normal moisturiser when needed is the perfect solution. I find it sinks in well after a few minutes and doesn’t make me greasy.

Best squalane oil so far
5I used squalane oil from The Ordinary before and did not love it as it became flakey when applied after Niacinamide - but this formulation from the Inkey is amazing, can apply it after l-ascorbic acid, niacinamide or EUK-134 and it hydrates like nothing else. LOVE IT! And my hubby loves it too, stole my entire bottle :) My skin is oily and acne, and there is nothing better than squalane oil I found for hydration!

Not sure about this
2Ordered two of these. Products arrived in very bad packaging (looks rather cheap). The product actually leaked out from both of the bottles once it was shaken. I'm not sure if the product in the bottle decreased through leakage, but comparing the 30ml to the ordinary's 30ml Squalane, it felt like the products of this brand's Squalane is lesser.

Better than the Ordinary
5Totally disagree with the review below. My skin feels so hydrated and I have noticed an instant effect on my fine lines. This has not made me break out like The Ordinary did - also, it's time to support a new brand!

A must have
5I have always had oily skin and I've always been worried about using an oil on my skin. I have tried the Ordinary's version and it broke me out so I stopped using it. This has seriously changed my mind about trying squalane again. My skin still feels so moisturised but also has helped to control my oily skin and no break outs! If you are nervous to try an oil give this a go.
