A REAL CHANGE!

ALTHOUGH IT DOES FEEL A BIT LIKE RUBBING LEMON INFUSED COOKING OIL IN YOUR FACE, A SMALL AMOUNT GOES A LONG WAY AND FROM USING IT APPROX 1 WEEK, I'VE NOTICED MY SKIN IS CERTAINLY BRIGHTER, DEWIER AND CLEARER THAN IT'S BEEN IN AGES! I DON'T FIND THE SMELL THAT OFFENSIVE AT ALL - NOT SURE WHAT THE SMELL-RELATED FUSS IS ALL ABOUT - IT'S LEMONY, YES - BUT CITRUS IS QUITE CLEAN AND REFRESHING AND IT'S NOT OVERLY OFFPUTTING. IT IS QUITE STICKY BUT HASN'T MADE ME BREAK OUT AND I HAVE COMBINATION SKIN, THROUGH AND THROUGH (DRY NOSE, NORMAL CHEEKS, OILY T-ZONE). I'VE JUST BOUGHT 'GOOD GENES' AND THESE PRODUCTS AREN'T CHEAP SO I THINK I MUST BE IMPRESSED TO PAY OUT EVEN MORE :-)

Oil is ok, but it smells awful
2 out of 5 stars
The product is not bad, a little too thick to blend it properly around the face so you have to put on more than other oils. The results are ok but the smell is really awful, very strong and lasting. I really prefer Clarins oils to Artemis, not only half the price and they smell lovely, they are easier to apply too.

Detoxying & spot clearing
5 out of 5 stars
If you're looking for a flawless face, then purchase this! Every time I stop using this I become prone to breakouts. When I start using this again, a few days later my spots vanish. Minimal ingredients are used which is great for sensitive skin, just wish it didn't come along with a hefty price tag!

Not so great
2 out of 5 stars
I was excited to use this Sunday Riley product specifically for its long list of ingredients to clear and brighten the skin. I used it for three days to give it a chance but I didn't feel any difference in my skin. Applying it was tricky as it isn't a smooth oil type...it's more of a sticky serum with a strong smell. So you can't really massage it in properly as it pulls and tugs on the skin as you do so...not very pleasant. It just sits on on your skin all day so it's not "virtually weightless" nor does it "absorb quickly" as stated. You feel it there...and you smell it all day too. If it rubs off on your clothes when your changing expect your clothes to smell of it as well. Only thing I liked was the packaging.

Artemis oil
3 out of 5 stars
First of all I think the oil has an amazing effect on my skin. Hard to explain but when I use it my skin just looks better the next morning. However. The smell is vile! I can't bear it, I can't possibly buy this again. I've tried mixing it with other more pleasantly scented oils. Nope. Makes no difference.
