Paraben-free and enriched with anti-ageing ingredients, each product in the concise range has been developed to disguise, cover and correct the signs of ageing, without relying on heavy, cakey formulations that completely mask your natural colouring. The slimline palettes are comprehensive (and practical) making on-the-go touch ups a doddle, while Visible Lift Face Definer’s super-simple three steps to sculpt, enhance and glow, enable you to fake a facelift from the back of a cab!

Use the principles of lighting and shading to reshape, contour and lift the face. Starting with the highlighter, to add luminosity to the skin but also to give your features an instant lift. The idea is to mimic where light would naturally reflect off the face. Start by applying highlighter on top of the cheekbones, follow the natural contour and down to the lower cheek. Then just above the jawline and into the outer corners to disguise any sagging. Finish off with the other areas which naturally catch the light - centre of the forehead, chin and bridge of the nose. Now use a darker tone to hollow and create natural shadows - in essence, contouring the face. It's best to use a shade that's twice as dark as your foundation, but more importantly, it needs to be completely matte, otherwise it won't look natural. Start in the hollow of the cheek, below the apple and blend towards the hairline. Then create balance by applying to the hollows of the temples and forehead - with contouring you need to be precise but you don't want any harsh lines, so remember to follow the natural bone structure. As you age, the skin becomes translucent and pale, so use a blusher to add a youthful flush to the complexion - apply to the apples of the cheeks and blend a little way along the cheekbones.     This became a daily must-have from the first moment I tried it. The blusher is the nicest insta-flush I've found for daily wear and it's sheer enough to blend easily without looking like Aunt Sally. The formula feels silicon-smooth and moisturising, which is great for older skin because the make up glides over wrinkles and pores rather than settling into them (nothing worse than a product that highlights the feature one is trying to hide). The highlighter is a warm golden cream without any glitter, so it only highlights cheek bones not smile lines. The make up product that makes me the most nervous personally is contouring powder. I am rather pale so I have to go very carefully. This one is exactly the greige colour that shadows create on the hollows of ones cheeks and will work on skin tones from pale to dark olive.
