Amazing
5 out of 5 stars
I've finished an entire jar of this stuff and I'm ready to order another. I use this mask once a week and when I wake up the next day, my skin is smoother and and brighter looking. The jar lasted me a whole year with weekly usage, so I think that this it's priced fairly. My skin is usually sensitive, but it doesn't react negatively at all to this product. It does sting for about 30 seconds when I first put it on, but it's not bad and fades quickly. Love it.

Burned my face
2 out of 5 stars
I used this mask only twice. The first time everything was fine, my skin was left smooth and kind of resurfaced. The second time was a nightmare though. I have no idea what have gone wrong as I've done exactly the same as I was doing the first time, but it burned my face. When I washed it off I was left with flushed cheeks and a general "hot" feeling on my face. I put some moisturiser on and went to sleep. What I woke up to the next day was a nightmare. My face was very rough and I had a burning feeling. It has also changed colour slightly and became darker. I applied TONS of moisturiser every day for a week and avoided any products with acid/peeling etc. Got my usual skin back after using a mild face scrub (not a chemical one). After this experience I won't be using this mask again which is a shame considering it's cost. Have chemical peels done by professionals, people!

Overpriced for results
2 out of 5 stars
I decided to try this mask as my skin was tired and dry. After reading the reviews I decided I would splurge and buy it. After trying it for a while I have to say that it is overpriced for the results I have experienced. I followed the instructions and hoped that it would at least leave my skin softer if nothing else for the expensive price tag. Disappointedly it has made no difference, I will not buy it again .

The Sting is worth it!
5 out of 5 stars
Heard a few good things about this mask so decided to bite the bullet despite the high price tag but it is 100% worth it. My skin is super oily and congested but I do also get some dry patches and a tonne of blackheads. After 1 use of this mask my skin looks radiant and felt super smooth. When you first apply and rub it in (read the directions! It is applied differently to most masks) you do get an intense sting/burn which is intense but this only lasts 2 or 3 mins and then settles plus you only have the mask on for about 10 minutes so despite it not being the most relaxing of masks it honestly works.

Lives up to the hype
4 out of 5 stars
I have a rollercoaster opinion about this product; the stinging was very intense in my first use and it was quite unbearable but it petered out. Granted that I'm a regular user of acids (Pixi, P50 etc.) and can usually handle most stinging, this almost freaked me out. I followed up using the PTR Cucumber Gel Masque (to not much success) and the skin above my forehead was peeling even though I had only left it on for 5 mins and did a gentle exfoliation much like what other reviewers have recommended so. I was more gingerly with it during subsequent uses and found that it was amazingly with an intensely hydrating mask after (i.e: Origins Drink Up Intensive, PTR Blue Marine Algae) and my face felt so smooth, supple and just glowy. So surprised by the effects as I was expecting it not to work. It's not going to blow your mind but just subtly impress you.
