2i liked the smoothing effect in the beginning but then it started to pill and go a little hard in the container? better products out there

Pilling disaster
1Ooohh dear. Horrible mess...I took my foundation off twice due to the nasty cakey consistency. I'm glad it worked for some reviewers but like JZ and Mia, I wasn't impressed - accentuated nose pores, rolled into foundation coloured flakes which I could pull off my face and did nothing positive. Sorry, but unlike OTHER NYX products, I wouldn't ever recommend.

Very good
5It literally is a better dupe for Hourglass Mineral Veil. It is actually great at making your makeup last longer. I use it on my T zone and it keeps me from being shiny, although if you wear your makeup for 12+ hours it might cause a small pimple. My skin is hypersensitive and this hasn’t irritated me, ever. You need a small amount and it might cling to dry patches but once you put foundation over it, they won’t show. It’s really good for the purpose it’s made for, and I wouldn’t use it all over the face to be honest unless I was oily.

2It does smooth my pores but it’s too mattifying and I feel like it breaks me out. Doesn’t seem to make any difference to make my foundation last long either.

Very Matte
3Very thick and mattifying, with almost powdery texture. I only use it for oily trouble spots (oily t-zone), not an all-over face primer.

5Goes on like a dream. smoother than anything I've ever tried, my skin loves it, and it works with every foundation I have tried it with. Lancome to Rimmel. I have normal skin, not very sensitive, but slightly oily t-zone, and this is very mattifying without being drying. However, I should say my experience was slightly better with a product bought from a shop.

Gave me cystic acne!
3Very mattifying and works well to keep makeup on longer but I found it broke me out with those hard under-the-skin spots every time I used it.

Patchy
2I found it ended up making my foundation and concealer look cakey and patchy- especially on my nose. Felt heavy and thick on the skin. I have combination skin.

Worst Primer I've Ever Used
1I found this impossible to work with. Constantly pilled, even on bare skin. If it didn't pill upon application, putting foundation over the top caused pilling anyway.
