Seeing some nice results
5I apply this all over the face, and it helps keep my complexion nice and even toned. I do feel a very slight irritation when I apply it, but it subsides quickly. I'd say this is like a vitamin C serum in the sense that you need to use it daily to see results, but it's significantly more brightening that any vitamin C product I've ever used.

5I adore this serum. This is my third time buying it. I really notice my pigmentation getting lighter when I’m using it. It’s really the only product I found that does this.
Report this reviewI feel like this is a long-term product
3I think you have to use this for a really long time to have the effects show. the smell is really bad though.
Report this reviewWell it definitely works
5Just say I’ve been using this for 5 days (at night) and i am already seeing a difference. I kind of like that it feels a bit like an oil too (not a super stripping, harsh serum like others I’ve tried that claim to do similar things)
Report this reviewDecent product but pricey
3I've been using this for a few weeks and I'm not sure if I see much of a difference to be honest. It has a oily texture, and I use it in conjunction with Tranexamic acid, arbutin and niacinamide to treat scars and pigmentation. I would say you need to use this for a couple of months to see a major difference, but I do like the texture and feel of the products, and also the fact that it has no irritating ingredients like fragrance. The downside is the price, so I only spot treat as it would be super pricey and finish really quickly if you were to apply to your whole face.
Report this reviewBroke me out
1Not only did I not see any brightening results on my acne scars but the serum being kinda oily and thick it broke me out on my t-zone. Expensive mistake. The serum from Paula's choice with azeliac acid works much better for evening out the skin tone (but also pricey)
Report this reviewNot sure about this...
2I’m not sure about this. It takes forever to absorb and seems to just sit on the skin, leaving it sticky. I also haven’t really noticed a difference with this, unlike with IS clinical white lightening serum, which is amazing.
Report this reviewBrilliant product
5I have an Indian brown skin tone and have dark spots left from acne. This oil has really helped me with fading it. Have to use this twice daily, it started working for me after a month of continuous use.
Report this reviewReally effective
4It can really lighten the new sun damage. I use it every night before going to bed. After about two weeks, the sun damage on my hand is almost completely gone. But it does not work for aging, stubborn sun damage.
Report this reviewDid nothing! And I bought the big bottle!
1I have Indian skin that scars very easily - my face looks like an inverted picture of the night sky :( I thought that it would make a significant difference because of the price and because it’s owned by the same company as The Ordinary. I thought it would be like their Alpha Arbutin serum on steroids! I gave this treatment a very fair chance and it made no difference whatsoever. £50 down the drain unfortunately... For anyone in a similar situation, I would recommend the Glossier Skin Solution, it didn't get rid of my marks but it did lighten them quite a bit.
