5I’ve tried many vitamin c serums and this is the last one I’ll try for the foreseeable future. A pleasure to apply, feels hydrating and plumping, and leaves the skin feeling amazing.

5I really enjoy applying this product because of its lightweight texture and there is an amazing solution — you can control the quantity used as there are signs: 0.1 ml, 0.2 ml and so on at the pipette. I like that it contains ferulic acid which along with vitamin C is said to boost collagen production in my skin.Â

1I have used vitamin C from different brands and never had any issues. I've also used Retinol and my skin has always been fine. My skin is used to using acids as I have acne prone skin and every beauty therapist has mentioned I have quite thick skin. Well... after using this product for 3 days, I am having the worst reaction possible ever. My entire face is red, inflamed and burning, as if I were having the worst alergic reaction ever. Not happy, as I did a patch test and it's an expensive product. I would recommend using this as with retinol, only a couple times a week, at least to start with - no more.

5This serum really does brighten the skin. I have been using it every morning and my skin looks so much healthier and brighter already . I love how lightweight the serum is and it absorbs quickly into your skin .Â

1It is a scandal that essential oils and fragrance exist in a vitamic C product (or any other product, to be honest). It broke my skin barrier in a way that not even potent retinol could ever do, and it took a long time to bring my (more or less healthy) skin back to normal. In general, I feel that Medik8 sets very high standards with its prices, and rarely fulfills, unlike PC products that are almost always on spot and safe to use.
