I got an Hourglass finishing powder and was looking for a brush that was soft so I can be gentle with and this one was the one. It’s not so big so I can be more precise but and the same time very gentle while dusting my face with the ambient powder. Lovely match and also again, love Spectrum brushes! Second purchase from them and would highly recommend!

I use it with my Charlotte Tilbury finishing powder to brighten my under eyes, since the tapered tip allows precise application. However, the brush is a bit stiff and the bristles could be softer.

Good for cream blush

It's a brush that will do other jobs well, but for finishing powder I find it a bit stiff. I tried to use it with Guerlain's Meteorites and a lot of the powder goes into the tip of the brush and packs the product too densely on my face, despite tapping it off several times. However, I like this brush for cream blush surprisingly. Absolutely no patchy application, something I can't achieve with my other brushes that are meant for blush. Washes very very easily with soap or shampoo. Comparable quality with Luvia, slightly better than Real Techniques.
