I ended up covered with spots after using this mint cream for a month. Initially I thought my skin was “purging” thanks to the acid, so I stuck with it. A few weeks later, I was still breaking out! I think something in this doesn't agree with my skin.

This cream is okay. I haven't really seen the same results as other reviewers though, which is a real shame. I find this really tingly on my face, which is unusual as I use acids regularly and they don't bother me. This also makes my face super super shiny, even when I wake up. I don't know if it's somehow encouraging oil production (I don't have oily skin though). I just can't work it out. The smell... I just can't get used to it. It smells of off milk, which is the lactic acid I guess, which isn't pleasant. It wouldn't be a deal breaker if the cream performed really well, but it's just not blowing me away. I'll finish the bottle but I won't repurchase.

Have never really felt compelled to write a review until trying the January Labs line, and quite ironic as I nearly sent this night cream back thinking the smell of it was a bit off. However was told that it has a slightly unusual smell and that it was perfect normal, so I continued on with it, literally within the first two days my skin felt different, so so smooth. I have the night and day cream and although I love the day cream too the night cream is outstanding, will not be without it now, worth every penny.

This is a cream that really sits well on my dehydrated skin, over other products or on its own. I really like the ingredients list. And how smoothing and lustre giving it is. It is richer in texture than the day cream and lotion. A real treat for drier aging skin I think. And in this price range it is really great for me.

My second order and I will keep ordering. I love it! Great texture, love the smell and most importantly love what it does to my skin. Truthfully the first time I used it I wasn't sure. It really burned and turned me bright red. But, stubbornly I kept using it and I am so glad I did. Now, no more burning or redness, just glowing skin. Can't wait to try the day cream and mask.
