You could say I ‘fell into’ beauty entirely by accident. At school I was patiently waiting for something to click – for that Eureka! moment when I’d know what I was meant to do, but it wasn’t until I was 16 and picked up my first make up brush that I felt like I’d finally found the right thing. The obsession was real, and I set out to learn all I could about beauty. I took a job on a counter, and after years working for iconic brands such as Benefit and Charlotte Tilbury, I was eager to take my next steps. Aged 22, I made the leap across The Pond to train in NYC with Make Up Designory, achieving my diploma in TV and Special Effects Make Up. From there, I became a freelance Make Up Artist specialising in bridal beauty – I just love being part of each memorable day and ensuring my clients look great and feel confident – it’s such a privilege. My beauty secret? It has to be bronzer. Not too dark, not too orange… find the perfect blend of warm and cool and only use it where the sun would hit your face for a realistic warmth.
