10 Minute Make Up

Everybody has them – those awful mornings when you wake up late, feel (and look) hungover or have somewhere to be at an ungodly hour. In these instances, the majority of us will barely have time to find tights that aren’t laddered/a shirt that looks ironed – let alone apply a face of flawless make up. Which is why we’ve compiled this ten minute guide to help get you gl-oing (with time left for breakfast)!

{10 Minutes} Before you jump in the shower, apply a thin layer of {1 Minute Flash Rinse} all over dry skin – leave on as you go about your morning shower ritual, then massage with damp fingertips to activate the vitamin C. The blue gel smells like oranges, and gently resurfaces whilst stimulating bloodflow so you step out looking positively luminous.

{9 Minutes} Often overlooked, priming makes a massive difference to the quality and longevity of your make up. Embryolisse’s cult {Lait-Creme Concentre} is a moisturiser, skin-conditioner and primer in one – just apply all over clean skin using circular, massaging motions, to blur imperfections and lend your complexion a dewy, soft-focus finish.

{8 Minutes} Use a BB or a CC Cream – we swear by Resultime by Collin’s {Multi-Corrective} formula, which blends effortlessly to counteract redness and unify tone, with an SPF 20 to ward against UV exposure. Use fingertips or a dampened {Beautyblender} to achieve an enviable, airbrushed effect – then quickly conceal any pimples or shadows with Studio 10’s {Age Defy Skin Perfector} – a palette of colour correctors, which can be mixed and matched to leave skin beautifully even.

{6 Minutes} Armed with a couple of {NudeStix}, you can cheat cheekbones and fake a flush with just a few waves of these magical wands. The double-ended {Sculpting Pencil} has a contour and a highlight to enhance your favourite features (use the deep side to ‘colour in’ natural shadows, and pale side to brighten ‘high points’ of your face).

Then use the {Lip and Cheek Pencil} to create a natural, (youth-boosting) lit-from-within blush – just do a quick doodle and smudge with your fingers.

{4 Minutes} If you’ve got a hairdryer to hand, blast Kevyn Aucoin’s {The Eye Lash Curler} with heat for a few seconds, then carefully curl – at increments along your lashes – to create a long-lasting lash perm. Finish with two coats of {The Curling Mascara} for a full set of fluttering fringes.

{2 Minutes} If you’re a dab hand at a feline flick, use Stila’s {Stay All Day Liquid Liner} to create the ultimate, long-wearing ‘wing’ (neaten any mishaps with the NudeStix {Clean-Up Pencil}). If not, try tight-lining – draw along the inside of your upper lash line, to fatten-up lashes and grant eyes definition. 3 Concept Eyes’ {Creamy Eye Pencil} comes in a spectrum of colours to complement eyes – from black to deepest plum.

{1 Minute} Groom brows with {Clear Gel} then ‘set’ everything with a spritz of {The Jasmine Garden} – a gorgeous, mood-enhancing mist that instantly hydrates and promotes radiance.
