Very long lasting, amazing scent! I get a lot of compliments while wearing this - amazing!

Its a very musky and envolvente fragrance ( my kind of scent) but i was disappointed . Heard so much about it and thought i had found the Holly grail because of all the recommendations out there. Wanted very much to find The One. It is very good but still on the hunt for the One. I feel its missing a note to lift it up.

The first thought that crossed my mind when I smelled Portrait of a Lady, is that this fits a woman that cannot be silenced or restricted. It is definitely dark, thus not cheerful, strong and free, but not carefree, and absolutely multi-faceted. My second thought is that if you wear such a perfume, you should not expect to be liked by everyone, and by that I mean that it is not a seductive perfume that attracts compliments, but do expect that nobody can deny your presence. That is truly a piece of art, an experience than a perfume.
