Could work for dry skin!

Very oily for my acne-prone skin. Metallic smell and leaves a white cast. Avoid application close to the eye area! Definitely not a great choice for daily use. I only use it when I go to the beach.

Terrible for price

I bought this after many people said it was an excellent sunscreen for under makeup... however I’ve tried to work with this so many times and it just keeps pilling. I thought maybe it could be due to the products I’m using underneath it so I tried using on bare skin and it still manages to pill. Literally a waste of £29. Soooo disappointed!!!!!

Disappointed

Love Drunk Elephant and have tried most of the products but this sunscreen is not good. It pills very easily, especially if you mix it with products that are not in the same range and it leaves a white cast. It's thick - l now usually mix it with the sunshine drops but despite them saying that's OK l am sure the efficaciousness of the SPF is effected. The only product so far that l would not recommend or repurchase.

Drunk Elephant Physical Sun screen

Really like the formula, it feels nice and hydrating. The consistency is a tiny bit gritty but that's always the case with this type of sunscreen. It leaves a white cast and a slight greasy finish that disappears after 20 mins or so. I think it's kind of over priced as you can get similar ones for a better price, but it works with my sensitive skin.

Comically bad

I don't even know what to say. It comes out of the tube like runny, gritty, greasy paint. Applied to the skin it... curdles. I can't even call it pilling, it's more like it's stringy and curdly. Maybe chunky even. I've tried it over serums and just straight on the skin, and it doesn't work either way. It just does not want to cooperate. I don't think this product should have been released, it is just unusable. There are loads of mineral sunscreens that manage to be cosmetically elegant, I don't see how a huge company like DE couldn't manage to make one.
